Introduction to Biomedical Engineering Course:
Biomedical scientists is a person who is trained in biology particularly in medicine whose work is to diagnose disease and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. In Biomedical engineering people generally conduct research in a laboratory setting, using living organisms as models. They are also employed in veterinary service, the Health and Safety Executive, university laboratories, pharmaceutical and product manufacturers
Once qualified, many biomedical scientists work in laboratories for the NHS and private sector. Modern laboratories are the hi-tech hubs of hospitals at the cutting edge of medical technology. Biomedical engineering is getting more popularity around the world due to rising of medical technologies. But if working in a general hospital laboratory isn’t for you, there are many other avenues to explore, such as the Health Protection Agency (HPA).
You need to qualify class XII exam so that you can pursue B.E (Bachelor in Engineering)/ B.Tech (Bachelor in Technology) in Aeronautical course. You can also opt for diploma course in this stream but still you need to complete graduation for it to have a better knowledge on things.

Future in India:
Biomedical scientists are now increasingly found in the primary care setting working with general practitioners in surgeries and community clinics and helping to deliver a diagnostic service to patients. Biomedical science is a dynamic, varied, exciting and rewarding career with excellent prospects and promotion opportunities
For Biomedical scientists, employment is usually at large pharmaceutical companies or biotechnology companies. There are many applications of Biomedical science such as development of various medicines, vaccines, increase of productivity, conservation and animal breeding, improvement of quality of seeds, insecticides and fertilizers.
